Preserved Lemon with Ulva

Preserved lemon adds life to every dish, and Ulva adds color, health, and the aroma of the sea.

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons
  • A handful of Ulva 
  • ½ cup of salt
  • 2 tsps. of smoked paprika
  • ¼ cup of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients (except for the oil) in a sterilized jar. 
  2. Push the ingredients down into the jar as tightly as possible. 
  3. Add the olive oil to prevent air to enter the mixture. 
  4. Close the jar well and store in the refrigerator for at least one week.
