Peeled Shrimp With Ulva and Garlic
Ingredients
- ½ kg shrimp, peeled and cleaned
- 4tbsp olive oil
- 50g. butter
- 2cloves of finely chopped garlic
- 1 cup of finely chopped fresh Ulva
- Salt and pepper as desired
- Juice of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- Set aside the potato starch.
- Place the oil and butter in a deep-frying pan and melt the butter.
- After the butter has melted, add the fresh Ulva. Because the oil can splatter, it is advisable to cover the pan with a net or lid. After five minutes, add the shrimp. Stir-fry until the shrimp changes color to pink.
- Add the spices.
- In a separate bowl, mix the orange juice and cornstarch. Mix well to prevent lumps. Add to the frying pan and stir until a smooth and uniform texture is obtained.
- Serve either hot or cold.
