Fried Fish Coated with Ulva Flakes
Ulva flakes enhance the flavor of fish.
Ingredients
- 500 g. of any fresh saltwater white fish
- 25-30 g. Ulva flakes
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup olive oil or other fat of your choice
- one or two eggs
Instructions
- Coat the fish fillet with flour.
- Beat the eggs.
- Dip the fillet in the egg batter.
- Coat the fillet in the Ulva flakes. Pat the fish lightly to make sure that the Ulva flakes stick to the fish.
- Deep-fry the fish in oil preheated to 150° C. for at least six or seven minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Place the fillets on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
